We will be discussing the upcoming Halloween Downtown and Christmas Downtown.

Welcome New Business
Please join me in welcoming our newest business downtown - Tweak Boarding

Tweak Boarding is owned by Dennis & Rachel Siegrist and is located at N88 W16739 Main St.

Dennis has been skateboarding/snowboarding for the past 25 years as a sport and is also on snowboard ski patrol at Sunburst.  Dennis' son Christian wanted to start this business, even having his business plan done but has recently enlisted in the Marines and ships out this December for basic training.

So Dennis and Rachel opened the shop in his honor and Christian will work at the shop until he ships out.  Daughter Caitlin will also work at the shop.

Tweak Boarding will be our local skateboarding/snowboarding shop and its purpose is to engage with youth and families of the community to provide them with a local resourse to help promote and advocate the growth of these unique sports in a positive way.

New Business Cont'd
Tweak Boarding is offering skateboards along with accessories, helmets, and pads.  The also have snowboards with all the necessary goggles, boots, and bindings. And of course t-shirts, clothing, magazines, and sunglasses round out the inventory.

Dennis & Rachel did a soft grand opening the last weekend of August, but will be celebrating their official Grand Opening on Saturday,Sept. 11th.  from Noon - 4:00 there will be free pizza, soda, and drawings.
